Large Hoops Oval Plate (AGUA series)
Large oval plate, made of a rough-edged slab, glazed and decorated with hoops in multiple dark shades and light pink at the top, unglazed bottom. Signed at bottom of rim.
Holds fruit and vegetables well, as well as bread and cheese at the center of a table. Notice that as the rim is higher at certain areas and low in others, this plate isn't meant for something that might spill.
AGUA is an ongoing collection of one of a kind pieces. It got its name sometime at the end of winter 2024, when I noticed a certain shelf in the studio was gradually filling up with different pieces, all seeming to belong to a nautical theme. Some reminded me of boats, bodies of water and different aquatic accessories - which is what came to my mind when I took out this oval plate from the kiln.

Hand wash is recommended to prolong use. Dishwasher safe, microwave safe.
